Johnny and Andrew (and everyone else on their team) have been extremely qualified, reliable, and trustworthy people. They worked with me to bring to fruition a fireplace surround and mantle design that I dreamt up! They were great about asking for input if there was any ambiguity in my instructions, and even offered great suggestions when I was about to make a design mistake. They suggested that I change the grout color that I had originally picked and they were 100% correct. They also recommended replacing the travertine on the floor because I had previously put in smaller tiles that looked bad in front of the fireplace.
They were back today because I had a small job- to hang up a heavy mirror that was too difficult of a job for my husband and I. They did a fabulous job and they did it fast!
Added: Johnny and his team built this pizza oven for us. We bought the kit and they meticulously built the base as we requested and assembled it carefully. They matched our existing concrete and checked in- as usual- when decisions had to be made that were preferences or aesthetic choices. Fabulous job!

Very professional and courteous father and son team. I enjoy supporting small business owners who help and provide services within their local community. Veteran owned is a plus. What I really liked was their honesty. They could've charged me more, but were able to make a simple fix based on what they found and reduced their initial estimate. Thanks guys. Johnny and crew are amazing... They have helped me with several projects, but there were 2 projects that ALL the other handyman services on Yelp would not touch: 1. Adding an air duct to a range hood (through ceiling and roof), and, 2. Cutting through a tile counter to replace the kitchen sink. Their work is outstanding and I'm thrilled with the results. I will be using their services to do a major master bath remodel in the near future.

We had our pre-existing wood deck replaced with Trex. We had gotten several quotes, but choose J&S because Johnny seemed to know exactly what we wanted and even made some better suggestions for us (such as replacing existing posts with taller ones for sail shade vs. adding additional posts). The crew (Ray, Andrew) were just great, very detailed oriented and took their time with every part of the replacement project. We are completely thrilled with how it turned out! They even came back out and fixed a few minor items we noticed after it was completed. We would absolutely recommend this company for any project you may need. In fact, we already have another project lined up for them!! New deck and old deck.
